Match Analysis (Barca vs Bilbao) (1-1)-A Wakeup call

Playing vs Athletic in Bilbao is always a difficult task for Barça, and the game yesterday was no exception. However, it was an important wake-up call for Koeman and his players. Question is – Did he listen to the alarming sounds or will we see more games like this. It’s fair to say that Athletic Bilbao were the better team vs Barça, that failed to dominate the game. Moreover, the defense looked very bad. However, there were some good points to take from the game. Let’s start with them: Good Points Although it’s just the start of the season, the signing of Memphis Depay looks like a ‘Bingo’ so far. After Leo Messi left, Memphis quickly turned out as the main force in the Blaugrana attack. Yesterday it felt like he was there all alone trying to score and assist. Moreover, other players ruined good chances he created. And yes I’m talking about the awful miss of Braithwaite in the first minutes. The game could develop a lot different if he scored that goal. But overall great p

Does Koeman deserve another chance at BARCELONA?

Though i respect Koeman as a Barcelona Legend but for me Ronald koeman is simply not a coach Barca need at the moment, though he has done a great job by accepting a job at the worst time in the club's history, he has done a great job with the players he has, he does have a cule heart and is pretty much involved in the teams' dynamics intensely, took charge of club in their worst time in history while leaving his easier job at Netherland's national team is something everyone liked but he is not that great coach, which barca need at the moment. Starting a season with the worst record since Rijkaard era, but improving in the latter part of the season is great but it all came against weaker opponents, his tactics and game awareness lacks everytime he coach, his record against top 4 Spanish teams are even worst, shows his incompetency to compete tactically, worst record at camp nou has been produced during his tenure. Barcelona's results in La Liga against the o

GLORY Days will be back soon!!

I often think that, will BARCA ever be able to resurrect themselves and bring those title winning days back?! Though i believe it is not easy to do it by simply hovering the magic stick over them, but a serious thought out plan or say project is required to do it.  Recently elected president of Barcelona "Joan Laporta" is the man under whom Barcelona tasted their ever lasting dominance in Europe since he left, club fumbled whether it's in the area of sporting project or their dominance over Europe, everything doomed .   Now, time has come to redefine the club's project and no one is better than the recently elected president Laporta, he is the man with great determination and will power whom everyone loves. Now with the current scenario he has a lot of work to accomplish, and i am sure he will be able to do the same. With the recent defeat against the arch rival "Real Madrid", has raised many questions on the coaching staffs because team has not yet clicked

Miracle, no-one saw it coming!! Barca vs Sevilla [(3-2)agg]

Being a die hard Barca fan has been very tough in last few years, many things going inside and outside the club like Barcagate, Messi transfer rumours and the fall of President, lack of sporting project and many more. We fan had have enough of these news. Contrary to that Barca have performed something sort of miracle in past 2 months weeding game against Psg.  Team has gone through a lot of criticism and guilty of not performing at the highest levels. But as we say it " Hard time brings the best version of you " It's still the beginning but culers are excited and enthusiastic about the current team not sure about the coach but cules are full of enthusiasm only because of Barca's recent performances has been very good. Game against Sevilla was the one was one of the toughest ties Barca would have got in Spanish top flight, Sevilla have been in a top form recently, lopetegui has done a tremendous work with these sevilla players. Being the toughe

Everton wins the merseyside derby first time in 22 years.

Everton today...  End a 20 game run without a League win v Liverpool, longest run by either side in this fixture, End record run of 20 games without a League win at Liverpool, Equal club’s best unbeaten away run in PL, 8 games What a team performance from Everton! The stand out was Pickford who made some amazing saves! Everton finally get their first win at Anfield since 1999.  Whereas, Liverpool have one point less after 25 Premier League games than David Moyes had in his one season at Manchester United. They've had a brilliant three seasons, and there's caveats, but it's an incredible and compelling decline. Liverpool lost four consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since 2002. An early Richarlison goal and Gylfi Sigurdsson’s second-half penalty ended a wretched run for the Toffees at Liverpool’s home, winning at Anfield for the first time since September 1999. The result also brings up an embarrassing stat for the cha

What is it like to meet Lionel Messi?

It's unexplainable, words are less to describe how it would be like meeting him face to face, having an enormous influence and impact in my life, i will try to enumerate it, it would be foolish to explain his Goat stature in the world of this beautiful game c/d football. Not only that he is the greatest player of all time but he is genuinely humble humble person which is clearly palpable during games unlike some egotists. Following football need a face in every individuals life, this incredible little man Leo was the one for me, Meeting him would be like being in heaven, the kind of feeling is simply unexplainable, i didn't wanted to write it but i would cry when this will happen, u can't pen it down meeting your idol whom you have supported in whatsoever form and circumstances he was in, he is himself a different species than the rest in the world, the greatest magician and the world class we talk about he is all of them with his talismanic and sublime dribblin

Pedri at Barcelona: Steal of the Decade

Arguably World's two best midfielder Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernández left behind something indelible in Barcelona's history. For the better part of a decade, these two beauties traveled through Europe and torn their defence  in pieces by their defence splitting passes and beautiful one touches, getting everything they had, but in addition to winning, they did it with quality at every step.   Perhaps the biggest caveat in this is that in the end, they had to say goodbye to the club. Their long service to Barça does not seem to be repeated, as their ancestral talents were few and far between. Some hope was regained by the arrival of Arthur Melo, however, interrupted by immorality, low workrate and inconsistency, the Brazilian work at Garnet and Barcelona's Blue was temporary for him. Now, two years after Iniesta's departure from football Club Barcelona, Barca seems to have found a man to take over in the next decade. That man is none other than the feelings of young

Barcelona 1-1 Eibar: Match Review; Koeman continues to disappoint

First Half A week after his departure, Barcelona returned to the Camp Nou to face Eibar. José Luis Mendilibar's men often concede more goals at Camp Nou. However, Lionel Messi, who was out of today's game, was not there to score as many goals as he did earlier this year. Ronald Koeman has decided to go with the same construction for Real Valladolid.   Martin Braithwaite did not have a good start to the game. Big Dane missed a penalty in the first five minutes. Ronald Araujo won the place behind the corner. Braithwaite then continued his grief by scoring an illegal offside goal. Junior Firpo's movement was at an all-time high, but he was caught falling offside.   The VAR then had to make another decision as Eibar could receive a fine. Oscar Mingueza stepped in and tried to weaken the attacker. After a lengthy review, the referee did not fine the guests. All in all, this performance in the first half was a great promise - some of the most recognizable

Can Barcelona beat PSG in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League?

Yeah , why not, but first thing Barca needs to do is to sack Koeman, he ain't the coach barca need atm, don't get fooled by his legendary status at the club, he is very fragile and vulnerable at his tactics he doesn't have any clue about the substitutions when and how it should be beneficial for Barca, he is a clown and a person with double standards. Let me tell you how i was excited when he was about to become coach but since then i have been in a repeated repentance. It's not only about winning games but it's more about how you approach a game, He has been in a constant delusion sice he started coaching barca, when he was not the Barca coach he used to say “ Players like Busquets and Pique need to be replaced" but look at him now how contradictory his statement is. Game against Juventus- Mingueza was doing everything right and one mistake and he was subbed off, he was covering what Lenglet left and that cost his place. Lenglet need to be immediately removed

How is Barcelona performing so far this season?

This 20-21 season is a bit on and off kind for FC Barcelona ,they Mainly lack good Center backs, Lenglet is not a world class CB, Pique was Excellent once but not now his time has gone, Barcelona needs young blood in their defence. This can be blessing in disguise for young players that Pique is injured and he will be off the field for quite sometime, approximately 5–6 Months and With only one senior CB(Lenglet) the stubborn koeman will have to give chances to young players like Oscar Mingueza and Ronald Araujo to show case their talent. And finally Koeman gave up on his stubbornness and gave chance to Oscar Mingueza and he did excellent again Kiev, Oscar was excellent that night with a aggressive and calm headed and good anticipation of the Stricker, good recoveries, good tackles, Excellently won all the Aerial duels as he is tall, good passing specially in the second half he was great, i was also surprised that he was adjusting his defence though he was a junior player and playing hi
