Who is the best left winger, right winger, and striker of all time among Messi, Ronaldo, and Cruyff?

In the absence of the Ballon d’Or this year, France football have decided to create a Ballon d’Or Dream Team, which will be announced in December.

For the past few Mondays, the French publication has been naming the greatest 10 players in each position. A vote will then take place to create an ultimate XI of the best players to have ever played the game.

Left Wingers

Cristiano Ronaldo, obviously, stands out with many football fans suggesting the Portuguese is the greatest player of all time. He’s joined by Brazilian legends Rivaldo, Roberto Rivelino and Ronaldinho. Elsewhere, Premier League legends Thierry Henry and Ryan Giggs feature.

If we had to pick one, it would surely be Ronaldo.

Right Wingers

Can we be honest? We’re surprised to see David Beckham’s name here. Yes, he was a great player but can he really be compared to the likes of George Best, Garrincha, Jairzinho and Stanley Matthews. Of course, Lionel Messi is the greatest player of all time and gets our vote.

Centre Fowards

These guys know where the back of the net is, that’s for sure. Romario, Ronaldo, Marco van Basten, Gerd Muller and Johan Cruyff. This is an incredibly difficult one but we’re giving this one to Cruyff, who won the Ballon d'Or three times during his incredible career.

Having picked a player from each position, our Ballon d’Or XI looks like this:

GK: Lev Yashin
RB: Carlos Alberto
CB: Franco Baresi
LB: Paul Breitner
DM: Lothar Matthaus
DM: Xavi
CAM: Pele
CAM: Maradona
LW: Cristiano Ronaldo
RW: Lionel Messi
ST: Johan Cruyff

We’ll have to wait until December to discover who actually makes the XI.

What is Ronald Koeman doing wrong tactically?

Though Barcelona won all the initial matches in champions league and 5–2 against Betis but there are many flaws in tactics and substitution. Prssing game- Coming on to pressing game which koeman insists heavily on the team, sometimes pressing as a whole, Barca’s Defence goes on sleep and results in error in marking opposition, and when opposition put a bit of pressure barca’s Defence falls like a mud wall, i can understand that it's a new team and Barca lacks in defenders but playing with the same back 4 which led to a thrashing defeat against Roma, Liverpool and Bayern and now again this new coach is going on the same path down. Lenglet is not a world class defender and commits lots of error he should be immediately replaced by Araujo coz atleast he does have pace to outclass and pacey forward and he trackback easily, Pique should be replaced by Eric Garcia in the coming January hope Barca sign him . Improper substitution- why on earth De Jong never get substituted ...

Did Lionel Messi become football's second billionaire player in the world?

Yess, he is the 2nd football player to become billionaire after CR7, But he is now the highest earning athlete on the planet. Let's see what is his networth now and how it happened. Net worth : £309 million ($400m) Source of wealth: Football contracts, endorsement deals, investments Messi's net worth is estimated to be around as of 2020. These figures are speculative, though, especially as his business interests tend not to be widely publicised. Forbes ranked Messi 1st among athletes on their list of the top100 highest-earning celebrities of 2019, putting his income for the year at $127m (£98m), and fourth overall, making him the best-earning footballer and athlete in the world. He was $18m ahead of Ronaldo and $22m ahead of Neymar, the next athletes on the list. The Barcelona forward's latest salary package will certainly keep him among the richest active sportsmen on the planet over the next few years.

Riqui Puig should leave Barca?

Barcelona team has been revived since the beginning of the year with all of their players returning from injuries. Players such as Pedri Gonzalez, Memphis Depay, and others are fully fit to compete for the Blaugrana. As a result of this factor, Barcelona’s midfield has a plethora of choices. This might pose major problems for Riqui Puig. Nico Gonzalez, Sergio Busquet, Frankie De Jong, Gavi, Pedri, and Riqui Puig. They all will compete for a spot in the midfield trio. Riqui Puig was left out of the starting XI in the last Classico. Moreover, his absence from the bench indicates that Xavi Hernadez does not count on him. The 22-year-old has made six appearances for the Catalan giant this season, contributing zero goals. Several European clubs approached the La Masia graduate during the previous season, including As Roma, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Celta Vigo, and AC Milan. But he turned them all down. He aspired to be a starter and flourish in Barcelona. The Spaniard’s market ...
